It has been a harsh winter so far with ice and snow storms, very frigid temperatures, and many days requiring cancellations and delays. Imagine not having heat in your home because you were laid off, had medical or other financial problems and could not pay your utility bill. Unfortunately that is the case for many needy families in our area. Community Winterhelp was founded 27 years ago to help families keep their heat on in the winter. We help an average of 1500 families each year who are in crisis and face the threat of having their utilities disconnected during the harshest months of the year. Your next door neighbor could be one of those we have helped or will help this year. Your help is needed so that those less fortunate don't lose their heat this winter. Please support Community Winterhelp with a tax deductible charitable donation. Your contributions to Community Winterhelp are matched by LG&E. Hundreds of the families in our area will stay warm this winter because of our generous donors and supporters. Make a Tax-Deductible Donation TODAY!
Your neighbors will thank you!
